Story
This is how Cancer goes.
One day out of the blue your brother says 'don't you think Dad looks ill?' but you slightly ignore it and then he goes in for tests and he looks awful and one day of tests ends up being three weeks and he looks worse and worse and you go to the hospital every night after work and it's grim at the hospital and then he comes home and you know how ill he really is and the doctor says he might only last six months but eleven days later while you're at the swimming pool with the kids you get the phone call that says get to the hospital so you race to UCH and when you get there he dies and trust me, nothing prepares you for that.
This is what Cancer was like for my Dad.
But if we keep raising money for the Cancer charities, it doesn't have to be like this for other people.
The money that we raise with The Fireflies helps fight Cancer, and helps treat people who are suffering from Cancer. . If you can spare anything at all please sponsor me. It really will make a difference to someone who's ill.
