I've recently undergone treatment for bladder cancer at Guys Hospital where I received wonderful care and world class treatment.

As a result I'm keen to support Cancer Research UK and will be undertaking the Ultra Challenge North Downs 50km walk on 27th July 2024 to raise money for their continuing research.

I haven't walked 50km (30 miles) in one day for over 40 years so this will be an awesome challenge for me. Fortunately I'm going to be supported by two of my sons, Chris and Michael who are walking and raising money with me. They will probably end up carrying me at the end of the walk!
