HeadEast Cycle Challenge · 14 December 2016

Lewis Moody will take on HeadEast, supported by Y.CO, with explorer Alan Chambers and a team of cyclists, in aid of The Lewis Moody Foundation this December..

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving  page in support of the 'Headeast Challenge' where a team of 40 riders will cycle over 1,000K's in 9 days between Ho Chi Minh (Saigon, Vietnam) to Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The team is being led by former England rugby captain Lewis Moody (MBE), legendary polar explorer Alan Chambers (MBE) as well as three other very well known rugby faces (tba).

The ride is for a fantastic cause, The Lewis Moody Foundation which strives to raise money for increasing awareness of brain tumours, the largest cancer killer in children. Every penny raised will help support the distribution of 'Headsmart Symptom Cards', crucially giving parents, GP's and health professionals vital information about the signs and symptoms of brain tumours in children. Early diagnosis saves lives and prevents long term disabilities. Currently, on average, one child dies every three days.

Please note that the entire £3,000 cost for participation is being covered by me personally (this covers all accommodation, travel and daily expenses etc). 100% of all of the donations will go straight to the Lewis Moody Foundation.

Each of the forty riders have pledged to raise a minimum of £3,000 which will go straight to the charity, so please help me and give generously!.

Thanks and warm regards

Tim
