Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In February 2015 my 28 year old sister Rachel was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. She passed away in October 2015. In the weeks prior to her death she received excellent care at Farleigh Hospice. By raising funds for Farleigh I hope this helps them to continue providing the wonderful care that was afforded to Rachel. It is a difficult time for the patient and their relatives. Any help Farleigh can give to make the stay as comfortable and restful as possible is very much appreciated.
As I am sure you can appreciate running a Marathon is a daunting challenge. I ran 2 previously when I was 20 and 23 and while I didn't do as much training as was required I was young and fit. Now many years later with my youth very much in question and my fitness ebbing away I am determined to train well and hopefully last the course without hitting the wall! This is injury permitting!
