Bath Half Marathon 2010 · 7 March 2010 ·

We aim to help alleviate poverty worldwide to empower the poor with tools to change

Story

Hi Everyone,

I am running my first ever half marathon (that's 13.1 miles) on 7th March, 2010. I will be running it in Bath on behalf of Robin Hood Ministries, "a Christian Charity committed to changing lives in the UK and overseas by relieving poverty through direct action".

Thanks for your support.

About the charity

We are an independent charity, part of a global community of like-minded people and organisations that share a passion to alleviate poverty and suffering around the world. We deliver help on the ground through local partnerships, networks and individuals, working with people and projects that inspire us, that have a gifting for their work and a clear vision for what they wish to achieve. We help change lives by meeting basic needs: food, housing, education, shelter and helping people achieve legitimacy and legal status. Our projects are designed to empower greater self-sufficiency, new hope and a more sustainable future – a handshake, not a hand out.
