CHRISTMAS APPROACHES - a time of jollity…for some. 

8 years ago this December, my family came close to losing our home in a house fire. We awoke on Christmas morning in a hotel. Well-meaning friends kept telling us how awful the whole experience must have been. But I knew that having any roof over our heads made us among the most fortunate people on the planet.

Since then, I have found myself becoming increasingly aware of the growing homeless population. Last year, on a high after a Christmas party near Piccadilly in London, I was brought down to earth by the sight of a young woman sitting hunched and alone in the rain, begging. I couldn’t shake the image of her. It inspired me to write "All She Wants For Christmas" with the help of my sister Kit (of Marshall Hain "Dancing In The City" fame) 

I recorded it  this October/November under the name JAMSIDE UP feat:Timeless Tim  and "MC Burglar. The project turned out to be the perfect antidote to an arduous course of radiotherapy for prostate cancer which I have been undergoing. I decided to dedicate and direct all proceeds  to Crisis at this difficult time of year.
