Hi Guys,

I'm running the Birmingham half Marathon on October 23rd (a man with a beard told me to!). There were no plans to publish this info to the masses, but an article in the Solihull news has prompted a few people to tell I should achieve some good whilst putting this aging body of mine to the test!

I've chosen Birminghams Children Hospital as my charity and I would be really grateful if you would support me in raising as much as possible for this local and wonderful charity.

Training has started, way too late according to some, but I'm pretty sure I'll get round... I'll just be in need of a holiday afterwards!! :o)

Give what you can and I'll do the same on the 23rd.

If you can't be arsed to sponsor me, a pint of Guinness at the finishing line will be great!!
