Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

For those of you who have seen me recently, you’ll have no doubt noticed the ‘extreme level of fitness’ I’ve managed to get myself into over the last few months. The effort’s all been with good reason as on Sunday, 7th December 2008, I’ll be taking on the GRIM 8 Challenge. As appose to the usual sponsored jog around a city, GRIM 8 is an 8 mile run through mud, water and whatever the weather decides to through at us at the British Army Base in Aldershot, Hampshire http://www.grimchallenge.co.uk/grim8/. No doubt it’ll be a physically & mentally demanding day but all in a good cause.

I am running with 3 friends to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and in memory of Ron Bagley, my Uncle, and Jan Hurst, the mother a great friend of mine, who both recently passed away following heart complications.

The British Heart Foundation seeks to provide support and help to those who suffer heart problems. One of the key areas that is of interest to me it the work they do to ensure people look after their heart. Small changes in lifestyle can make a big difference.
