Cycle 42 for cancer is a charity bike ride to raise funds for Yeovil Hospital's Breast Cancer Unit Appeal & the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital.

Story

As we are currently on site at the Yeovil District Hospital, building the new £2.5m Breast Cancer Unit, which is located next to the Women’s Hospital building, we at Tilbury Douglas (Southwest) wanted to show our support by signing up a team of cyclists to take part in the Cycle 42 for Cancer Charity Bike Ride.

This year’s event will take place from 10am on Sunday 10th September at Walronds Business Park near Westport. Members of the team will participate in the debutante (22 miles), the Classic (42 miles) or The Tour (62 miles) and raise funds for Yeovil Hospital’s Breast Cancer Unit Appeal and The Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital.

Yeovil Hospital's breast care services are currently spread around the hospital. The Breast Cancer Unit Appeal is raising money to build a dedicated unit which will allow patients to have a biopsy, a mammogram, an ultrasound and a consultation all in one place.

The Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital provides the very best of cancer care for patients and their loved ones. Cancer care is about much more than medical treatment. The patient's needs are assessed to find out what cancer means to them, and what support they need. Thank you for your support and kind donation.
