We have signed ourselves up to do Back 2 the Trenches (a 10K 'Extreme' Army Assault Course) on the 20th September 2015 (exactly one year before our wedding!!) for Joint Action. 

The reason for this.........someone very close to us is experiencing severe joint pain resulting in dramatic loss of mobility. Although they continue to try new treatments and have tests to assess the situation, we are sure orthopedic surgery is necessary in the near future. With this in mind, we would like to do our bit and support the ongoing development in healthcare which is going to make it possible for them to regain their mobility.
