Story

I am running this year for Cardiac Risk in the Young. Recently one of my best friends lost her younger sister to Cardiac Arrest. 25 is too young to die so I am running for Leanne and others like her. Lets raise awareness and prevent the loss of more young people.

I know there are a lot of demands on your money these days but whatever you can give can help even just a pound. Leanne's family really appreciate every effort we make, and it will keep me going as I'm huffing and puffing my way round.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
