Story

At TIEC, we've seen first hand the impact the pandemic and virtual schooling has had on children's mental health. Children and young people need emotional support now more than ever. That's why we're taking part in Step Out for Mental Health with Place2Be.

During the month of May, we'll be clocking up 1,000,000 steps to support our own mental health, while raising funds for children. Catherine has committed to taking on the 31 miles challenge by running 50km during mental health awareness week (10th - 17th May 2021)

Place2Be is the UK's leading provider of school-based children's mental health services. During the pandemic, they have been working tirelessly to provide support to children and families who need them most. With your support, Place2Be can continue to be there for families during the pandemic and beyond.- £30 could pay for a vulnerable family to get support from a mental health professional. For many isolated families this is a lifeline, giving them access to basic necessities like food.- £100 could help 14 children to reach Place2Be during the pandemic and talk about their fears. Thank you.
