Participants: 40 GSK trekkers from 25 countries where GlaxoSmithKline have offices or R&D facilities.
Story
On March 20th-30th, I and 39 GSK colleagues from 25 countries around the world, will be going on a 7-day trek up the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia to raise money for the non-profit organization, Save the Children. With programs in 120 countries, their work not only improves, but also saves the lives of millions of children around the world.
All the money we raise will go to provide access to food, clean water, medicine and education to the children in need. Money raised in the USA, stays in the USA to support Save the Children USA programs. GlaxoSmithKline generously matches 100% of what we raise. This matching gift will go to support Save the Children programs abroad. None goes to funding our trek.
