Thundridge Welly Walk · 4 February 2022

We are the childhood cancer experts working to improve treatment, care and outcomes.

Story

Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group is a charity that means a lot to all of us at Thundridge Primary School as we have two wonderful pupils who are currently receiving treatment for Cancer. Both boys are amazing, inspirational characters and we are so proud that they are part of the Thundridge family. They are teaching us all how to be strong and brave.

On Friday the 4th of February it is World Cancer Day. This day is to help people think about those who suffer from Cancer around the world. Our pupils will be learning a little about what Cancer is and some of the treatments that children may receive to hopefully help them get better. In the afternoon we will also be completing a sponsored walk to raise money for this amazing cause.

This means so much to all of us at Thundridge so please give what you can to help us raise as much money as we can!

Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group is a leading children's cancer charity and the UK and Ireland's professional association for those involved in the treatment and care of children with cancer. Each week in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer. We bring together professionals to ensure all children receive the best possible treatment and care. We support young patients and their families with our award winning, expert information. We fund and support research into childhood cancers.
