THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!!! 

On Sunday 28th April 2019 a team of 6 Police Officers from The Met will be attempting to smash the Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon in a 6 person costume! 

Some of us are raising money for CLIC Sergent - The UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. They fight tirelessly to stop cancer destroying young lives and help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer, it’s treatment, life after treatment and in some cases, bereavement. 

I am attempting my Third Guinness World Record in memory of my daughter Tanyel both charaties  side by side  (Tanyel's Smile & Clic Sargent). 

In 2013 aged 18 Tanyel was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of bone & soft tissue cancer. After initially beating the disease Tanyel tragically relapsed and passed away in early 2016 aged just 20 years old. Clic Sargent supported our family through it all". Tanyel’s legacy will live on and on helping so many children in cyprus giving them smiles back .through Tanyel’s smile charity which was set up by myself and my wife Gulay in  June 2017.

Cey Uzun as Vigil Tracy - 2x marathon World Record holder - Fastest time in 5 person and 6 person costume. Works tirelessly to raise money for children's cancer charities. The rocket launcher who built our spacecraft!

Rob Jones as Brains - Marathon veteran and a previous marathon world record holder as part of the legendary Human Centipede team (since beaten by Princess Beatrice). The ‘brains’ of the team and it’s evident why he’s several ranks above his team mates. 

Charlie Farge as Lady Penelope - first time marathon runner, swapping the yoga mat for running shoes. Chief organiser of this Guinness World Record attempt and helping us look good in photos! 

Helen Smith as John Tracy - First time marathon runner and head of fundraising for this event. Will do anything for anyone - the most selfless person you will meet. 

Andy Moulden as Scott Tracy - Has a marathon under his belt. Is terribly unorganised but strong, fit and ready to take on the world one mile at a time.

 Dave Brennan as Alan Tracy - The comedian of the team who will have us laughing to the finish line. Has completed a marathon and is ready to hit the streets again to raise money for a great cause.
