WHY?
So, why are we putting ourselves through all of this torture? Well, my Dad, Andy Portwain, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease back in January 2015 but sadly lost his battle after only 18 months in November 2016. He was a funny, hardworking and generous man who was loved by many and who did not deserve to go through the suffering he did.
MND is a very cruel disease that gradually causes degeneration of your nerve cells and wasting of the muscles. It means that many basic activities such as walking, eating and breathing become difficult to do and eventually become impossible. Currently, there is no cure but with your help, we want to change that!
We hope that you can spare some change and donate to our cause and please help us spread the word by sharing with friends and family.
Thank you!
