Story
My wife and I are doing the charity sailing challenge across the North Sea because our son has Epilepsy & A.S.D. and my wife has Epilepsy.
This disability can and are well managed with help of trained people and medication. The people who have this disability are able to do many of the leisure sports that other people do.
Both my son and wife enjoy sailing and together we came up with this charity sailing challenge to highlight that their disability will not going to stop them from doing a sport they enjoy doing.
So when we do this Charity Sailing Challenge this year, we will be highlighting the case that people like my wife and son are not to be scared of but embraced for what they can do, not for what the can not do.
Once the 2025 charity sailing challenge is over, we will be planning the next year’s challenge and use the yacht to highlight the cause that people with disabilities have the right to do sports such as sailing without fear of rejection from other people.
Any money raised from the event will be used by Epilepsy Action & the A.S. D. charity to continue their work helping people with epilepsy and A.S.D.
So any donations however small or large will be welcome.
