A Message from Ms. Bradley & Mrs. Youngerman:

Curiosity, wonder, and delight will abound this year in 4th grade at BCS!  We delve into not only hearing God’s story but close reading our Bibles as we glean from those who are further along on their faith journey as well as discovering new depths the Bible holds for us.  Curiosity is heightened with hands-on experiments in science as we dig into what is in soil, energy, and our environment.  Math brings us a whole new world as the high anticipated long division is here!  Fourth graders have looked forward to long division with both trepidation and excitement and this year they will unlock that mystery.  We take a journey through Washington State and explore the different regions, oh, my! Fourth grade is the year that they write, write, write.  We use our adjectives and adverbs to paint vivid pictures with our words. As we explore literature we dive into the characters and their traits.  We will be swept away on journeys, face dilemmas with kids our age, and give a hurrah when our favorite characters rejoice!  Our deep hope is that each of our students loves our Lord and that this love blossoms to those around them.
