We will will undergo the  Three Peaks Challenge 
climbing Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours on November 5-6 to raise money for the Nizhyn disabled children's home in the Ukraine. All the funds raised will be used to implement projects focusing on physical and psychological rehabilitation, social adaptation and education for children with
special needs.

About Nizhyn children's home for disabled children – Target raise of £50,000 (UAH1,504,949)

Today, 105 kids with the following disabilities and illnesses live in the Nizhyn home:

· cerebral paralysis

· down syndrome

· epilepsy

· hydrocephalus

· microcephaly

· speech defects

To improve the success rate of rehabilitation, we are planning
to buy modern equipment for the psychological exercise rooms and the gymnasiums. This will enable the children to undertake the much needed exercises in order to improve their physical, emotional and psychological state.

The ultimate goal is to alleviate the kids’ physical disabilities and hence to have a much deserved opportunity to lead a better life.

Equipment that will be purchased on the raised funds:

1. Orthopedic device Motomed viva 2  ̶  £6,300

2. Orthopedic device Motomed Gracile 12  ̶  £7,600

3. Rehabilitation complex TRAC 60  ̶  £29,000

4. Universal cabin to a suspension therapy with a basic set of accessories and rehabilitation table  ̶  £2,850

5. Tablefor improving of fine motor skills of hands and fingers  ̶  £750

6. Program-technical complex "Timoko" for persons with disabilities  ̶  £3,500

Total: £50,000

These children deserve to have access to the necessary treatment and medical aid and to have the right to lead normal lives, to be part of our society, to get education and start families.

Disregarding their tough circumstances, loneliness and everyday pain, they remain extremely optimistic and through their example teach the rest of us to cherish every single day of our lives.
