We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

We're four mates who unfortunately have more than drinking pints in common. We have all been affected by Alzheimer's through friends and family.

That's why we've come together to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge on the 10th June 2022, to raise money for Alzheimer's Society, who do incredible things to campaign for change, fund research to find a cure, and support people living with dementia today.

The challenge requires that we climb the three highest peaks in the UK - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in under 24 hours.

Just to make things a bit harder, we’ll be carrying 15% of our own body weight in hops (the magic that makes beer), to symbolise the 15% of brain mass that is lost over the course of having Alzheimer’s.

The hops have been donated by Rick's employer, Wells & Co, who will then be turning them into a limited edition beer for Alzheimer's Society. Training is going well and we’re really looking forward to a pint of the good stuff at the end, knowing it’s been with us all the way - and it will be available to all of you too!

We’d be really grateful if you could donate a fiver, a tenner, or any amount you feel comfortable with - and we'll let you know when  you’ll even be able to buy our beer too!

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
