Story

So we have decided as a team the Thompson house are going to walk 26 miles on the treadmill 😬

In memory of summer rose  who lost her battle to AML (acute myeloid leukaemia) age 2 and half in November 2017

number 1 challenging as neither of us have done any walking for weeks

number 2 because we haven’t wore shoes for weeks

and 3 because the treadmill is so dam boring 😴
but we’re going to do it on the 26th of April between us 🤞🏼 wish us luck 😬 and please please sponsor us 🥰
we’re doing it to help the lovely lot at candlelighters because even in these hard times they’ve checked on us, done crafts with us,challenged us with fabulous quiz, we’ve had virtual picnics and virtual cafes, and they’ve kept us entertained,
and also had virtual talking Therapy with the girls if and when they’ve needed 💞
we will always be forever greatfull for the fabulous candlelighters  and what they have done for us since January 2017 and still there for us to this day 🥰

💞 bring on the blisters 😬😁💪

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
