Story
On Sunday 13th September, I will be swimming the entire 11 mile length of Lake Windermere in the 'Windermere One Way' #WOW challenge www.windermereoneway.co.uk/the-event
I started training 7 months ago with restrictions of lockdown adding to the challenge of trying to find water to train in! I have trained in rivers and lakes all over the UK, and in the sea more recently.
In the past, I have completed both a solo (11 hours) and relay (14 hours) swim of the English Channel, although Windermere has its own unique challenges.
Your generous donations will be really appreciated by my chosen charities - MS Society and Tritax Symmetry's charity of the year SUDEP Action. Charities have suffered a reduction in funding this year, so any donation no matter how large or small helps. Your donations change lives and make the many hours I have put into training worthwhile! Thank you.

Over 130,000 of us in the UK have Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It’s unpredictable and different for everyone.
Whether you have MS, or care about someone who does. The MS Society are researching, writing, campaigning and fighting. Running, walking, caring and talking.
Everything we do is made possible by donations from supporters like you.
Whether it's funding millions of pounds of MS research, being a kind voice at the end of the phone, helping people make sense of their diagnosis, giving grants to people who need them most or campaigning against welfare cuts.
We couldn't do it without you.
