This year we celebrate our 20th birthday! Through your kindness & generosity we hope to raise £20,000 as part of our birthday fundraiser to continue our support of sick and premature babies, their families and the staff who care for them.

Story

I am fundraising for the Little Roo Neonatal Fund to provide premature babies with specialist care and the best possible future. I chose this charity because my little brother was born 3 months premature, with a list of health issues as long as my arm, but the Little Roo Neonatal Fund at St.Peter’s Hospital, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit did their utmost to keep him going, and thanks to them he came home okay.

I would love to ensure that all other premature babies get the same chance my little brother did, as they are so pure and deserving of it. Every little helps!

About the campaign

This year we celebrate our 20th birthday! Through your kindness & generosity we hope to raise £20,000 as part of our birthday fundraiser to continue our support of sick and premature babies, their families and the staff who care for them.

About the charity

Previously called the Early Births Fund, the fund was set up in 2003 with the aim of raising £250,000 to provide additional intensive care cots for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This goal was achieved in 2 short years. The fund has continued on to support babies, families & staff on the NICU.
