Story
On Saturday 30th October we are going to hug 100 trees to raise money for Rainforest Trust UK. We chose this date as it's the day before the very important COP26 climate conference starts. We learnt at school about the dangers of climate change, and also that saving rainforests is one of the best ways to protect the climate.
We also both love nature and we know that rainforests are being cut down every day, which is making animals go extinct. We want to save as much rainforest as we can so that wild animals and birds have a safe home to live in.
Please support our tree-hugging challenge by making a donation today! Click on the GIVE NOW button at the top of the page to get started.
100% of every donation will be used to protect our planet's most threatened rainforests, helping to save endangered species and fight climate change by storing billions of tonnes of carbon. ALL DONATIONS WILL ALSO BE DOUBLED by other supporters of Rainforest Trust UK, so every pound you give will have double the impact!
Rainforests store billions of tonnes of carbon, protecting our planet from the impacts of climate change. They also provide vital habitat for half the world's species, many of which are endangered. However, they are being cut down at a rate of 70,000 acres a day.
Thank you for reading about our COP26 tree-hugging challenge! Please make a donation today, and then share this fundraising page with your friends and family!
