I became interested in doing the clipper race after following my aunt on the last race through the clipper website and the blogs that were written by her and her team. It seemed like such an incredible experience I jumped at the chance to take part in the 11-12 race. I knew the clipper race would be a great way to raise money and awareness for a good cause. It was an easy choice to represent the SDBTT, my family and I have been closely linked with the Dickson family since I was at school with Samantha and have been keen supporters of the charity since then. Representing SDBTT was an easy choice because I have seen how hard everyone at the charity works and what a difference their hard work has made to so many people fighting such a terrible disease.
