Story
Someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer every 16 minutes. Blood cancer is the fifth most common type of cancer in the UK.
I have seen recently what this type of specific cancer can do to peoples lives, an old school friend of mine sadly lost his battle with the disease late last year and currently someone else close to me is battling it for the 2nd time.
The disease does not discriminate on the lives in which it attempts to destroy, both my experiences of people with this terrible disease have been in young, fit, outgoing and good people
I hope these donations and the awareness I plan to create through running the marathon will give more and more families the successful and happy endings they are after.
