Hackney Half Marathon 2021 · 26 September 2021 ·

Take on one of the countrys most popular half marathons to support RNIB and those facing sight loss.

Story

Anyone who knows me knows I have never been a runner! However, I have started running over lock-down and want to push myself to complete a half marathon before the end of the year.

I am raising money for RNIB in recognition of all the services they provide to the blind and partially sighted. This cause is personal to me, as both my grandfathers have sadly lost their sight, severely impacting their quality of life in their golden years.

Please donate if you can!

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
