Story
This is a pretty difficult write up for me but I have decided to raise money for SSAFA this year for a very specific reason. A lot of people will be aware of the difficult year I've had, I now am admitting that I have been in a very fragile mental state for all of it which has been very difficult for me to come to terms with. After coming home form Ops life has been very hard following my divorce and I never thought I'd ever be able to overcome the emotions I was attempting to handle.
Juggling work, being a father and trying to focus on myself has been the toughest challenge of my life and without the support of SSAFA I can whole heartedly say I would not have been able to make the progress I have. My children have been with me every step of the way and SSAFA gave me the tools and the time to remain the father and person I continually strive to be. My children never lost their father and this is thanks to the work SSAFA has put into me and for this reason I have set myself the challenge of raising them £2000.
For everyone who knows me that has offered me words of support, whether in passing or taking the time to have a brew I truly value you all and it would be an honour to take your support with me to Tough Mudder. Without any of you I wouldn't be where I am and I cherish this like I do the help of SSAFA.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope I have your support <3
