Story
To say thank you for the help and support from EHAAT, Thomas will run for 1 mile a day, for 7 days, with daily updates. We are hoping to raise £150, which is the fuel cost of 1 hour of flying.
Here is Thomas’s story...
On 13th October 2018 Thomas suffered a compound fracture to his left tibia and fibula after being hit by a bicycle, at the age of 4. Due to the nature of the serious break and his young age, the Air Ambulance was called to help. Thanks to them carrying the strong pain killers, they were able to safely sedate Thomas so he can be transferred to hospital for treatment. The aftercare has been really incredible, inviting the family to the air base to see the team and asking Thomas to open their local charity shop.
The majority of our physical bucket collections have had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This Air Ambulance Week, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance has setup a virtual donation bucket, so you can still support us. Please donate what you can and share this page, so we can continue to save lives 24/7.
