We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

As some of you may know my cousin Matt passed away last year after a long fight with a brain tumour.

In memory of Matt we have decided to do the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds and show support for Brain Tumour UK- the charity that helped look after Matt so well throughout his fight with the terrible disease.

For those who didn't know Matt he was a true inspiration and a real role model on how to deal with illness and adversity. He gave the best man hugs a straight married man could legally give and always had a sunny disposition that was permanent and truly endearing.

People say illness changes you and Matt would be the first person to admit this- he always said the tumour gave him a real wake up call and made him embrace life and do all the things he always wanted to do. He traveled the world, he met his amazing wife Kris and it may sound rather cliche but he truly lived life to it's fullest.

So when times get tough on those mountains I'm going to do exactly what Matt did throughout his adversity- put on the biggest smile I've got and get on with it.

Anything you would be willing to give however big or small really would be truly appreciated.

Thanks

Tom
