We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Yes well I've chosen to stretch my legs in Bath in a months time and would be most grateful if you lovely people would donate.

In the following passage I shall aim to persuade you to donate money in the least self-righteous manner I'm capable of.

On the 7th of March I shall be running the Bath half marathon in aid of the Alzheimer's Society. The society works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. At present, there are 700,000  suffering from dementia in the UK, and the charity's work is growing increasingly important as the amount of dementia sufferers is predicted to hit 1 million come 2025. For more information on the society's policy please visit http://alzheimers.org.uk/ and judge for yourself what I believe to be a most worthy cause.

Lots of Love,

Thomas

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
