Story
This next challenge will be the osprey sprint 6th October 2019. I will be doing this and raising money in aid of another great charity close to my heart. The British Lung Foundation.
Having suffered with lung problems my entire life Ranging from asthma to bronchiectasis and emphysema, l have been in some bad situations myself and some I wasn’t sure I would come back from.
I have used this as my motivation to get to the stage I am at now. So this is a great way for me to finally show people it can be done. Whilst I give back and help the cause.

The triathlon consists of 3 stages. First. Swimming,
having not swam for almost ten years since having been diagnosed with my lung condition and receiving serious chest operations this has been a challenge. I am using the best coach’s about to increase my skill and confidence in the water. Also training my body with the pressure changes. So this is coming together nicely
Second a cycle from osprey leisure center to Portland bill and back.
I have Been training my legs up ready for this event. I have rode the route several times although missing the largest of the hills due to busy traffic. I’m hoping to practice late in the evening soon. Also trying to increase my speed though cycling with local clubs
Third. A run across the beach road.
This is the part I have trained the most for. I enjoy my running and have surprised myself over time with my proformace increasing steadily. but let’s see if I can do it after the first two events.
I will be seeking donations and accepting challenges to help raise the total so anything you think of PM me and we can work something out I’m sure.
I hope to see lots of generosity for this amazing cause.
