Story

I've learnt from reading these in the past, to keep this section brief.

In short, just over a year ago, the most running I did was to and from a bar, but since then, I have taken to the sport fondly and sometimes a run is the only way to clear my head and where better than the Derbyshire countryside......

Happily this new found passion allows me to run the 2017 London Marathon, which is something I would never have thought achievable. Most importantly, it also allows me to raise money for a vital and lifesaving service, The Air Ambulance. Unbelievably there is no funding from Government and so it relies entirely on charitable donations and in the most part, volunteers to keep the blades rotating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

This all coincides with Fidler Taylor's (of which I am a Director) Year of Fundraising for the DAA, whereby we are holding numerous events throughout the year (May 16 to May 17) and to date (Dec 2016) we have raised over £13,000,

I will be joined by my friend and fellow Fidler Taylor Director, Simon Croft. DIG DEEP PEOPLE!

Many Thanks

Tom (Boz)

Along with my friend and colleague Tom Blake, I am dedicating the challenge of running the London Marathon to the Air Ambulance Service. Derbyshire Air Ambulance helps countless people, not only friends or friends of friends who spend time running walking or climbing in the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District countryside but also people from every walk of life in need of emergency services where the speed and access provided by the helicopter is truly invaluable. You may not be aware but the Air Ambulance Service is funded solely by charitable donations and would not be there for us without fundraising and sponsorship like ours. It is likely you will know or know of someone who has been helped by their remarkable teams and I ask for your support by way of donation for such a worthwhile life saving cause. Every pound counts and your support is very much appreciated.
