Story
2 bois, 6 eggs.
Charity fundraising has been very badly hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, not least because of the cancellation of major fundraising events such as the London Marathon. This is particularly difficult for smaller charities such as Action for M.E.
To help make up the shortfall the 2.6 challenge is an initiative to encourage those who previously held a marathon place to take on a replacement challenge instead. The only rules are that the challenge is roughly related to the numbers 2 and 6. Given we will not be running the marathon tomorrow, and we have little else on at the minute, Ben and I have decided to take on the challenge.
We will be playing a variant of egg roulette, where we will take it turns to select eggs from a set of 6 to have cracked over our heads. The twist, four of the eggs have been hardboiled, two have not.
For as little as £6, you can gain access to the live stream of the challenge, and witness at least one of us end up with a new eggy hairstyle.
For £12, you can sponsor an egg and choose a tailored drawing or phrase to have inscribed on the egg prior to cracking.
All donations will go straight to action for M.E., and you can donate on the Just Giving page created specifically for the challenge.
We still hope to complete our original fundraiser for the revised marathon date in October too.
