The Churches Together in Thirsk & District are coming together to support the settlement of a family in our area as part of the government scheme to resettle refugees run by ResetUK.org.  Moved by the plight of families whose lives have been destroyed by conflict and our conviction to follow the teachings of Jesus to minister to those in need, we are raising funds to allow a family to have a new life in this country, to feel safe and 'at home' so that they can enrich our society. 

"Thirsk Together" are using the trusted financial systems of the Salvation Army to process all donations. This means that every penny of your donation will go to the community sponsorship scheme
