Promoting walking for health and raising money for the North East Trust for Aphasia

Story

5 teams of 5 TH_NK employees are walking the distance between the Newcastle and London office and back in four weeks to raise money for the North East Trust for Aphasia. That's about 1,161,600 steps per team of office workers!

NETA is a small North East Charity based at Newcastle University. They provide support for people with aphasia – communication problems after stroke or brain injury. About 30% of people who have a stroke are affected by aphasia.

Your donations will help pay for NETA's premises, and their fantastic two members of staff who support the people who attend their café, conversation groups, and many other activities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
