Story
Mental Health is something that is very important to me.
Although many people hide behind their mental health, I have learnt to embrace my own. It is something I have lived with for 11 years, and something I will probably live with for the rest of my life.
I suffer with crippling anxiety. Something that affects my every day life. Although I am not 'cured' the NHS have provided help in trying to help me find answers or control my illness. With funding and research - hopefully they can provide further help for anyone struggling with this awful illness.
Unfortunately, there are many people - both men and women who struggle with their mental health.
Anyone can help though - just by being there for somebody when they might need to 'not be alone' 🖤
There has always been a stigma against this illness when really - there shouldn't be. We are all people living in the same world. Let's tell our stories. Let's get the inside out. Let's help eachother.
The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health. With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
Me and my dad, Eric, are walking the coastline from Castle Rising to Old Hunstanton (a total of approximately 15 miles) in order to raise awareness and money for a charity that is particularly special to me and alot of other people in my life. 🖤
