Post event update
Thank you to everyone that supported Dr Charles Wilson & Dr Joe Wilson who both managed to complete the Cambridge Half Marathon successfully on Sunday 5 March, Charles in 2 hours 18 minutes and Joe in 1 hour 53 minutes. Both great times on what was a very cold and wet morning! Sadly, Jane Wilson had to offer her support from the sidelines due to injury.
With your help, The Wilson Trio raised a magnificent £944.43 (including Gift Aid) which in turn has helped raised over £21,000 for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
Thank you very much for your support.

Dr Charles Wilson, leading Consultant Oncologist at Addenbrookes Hospital, his wife Jane (a nurse) and son Joseph (also a hospital doctor) will run the next Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, as a family team 'The Wilson Trio'.
Having taken part in the event in previous years, Charles and Jane encouraged Joseph to take a charity place ; with close friend John Hodgson as fourth team member championing the families fundraising efforts!
Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people in Cambridgeshire who are living with a life-limiting illness. Their care and services are provided free of charge to patients, to help them and their loved ones to make every moment count. They are best known for delivering vital care to over 900 patients each year through their specialist palliative unit, day therapy and Hospice at Home Services.
To supplement the NHS Contribution, the Charity are required to raise £2 million annually to fund the additional services provided by the Hospice.
Charles was just one of the VIPs to visit the new state-of-the-art Hospice during the fortnight of Open Days which took place before the facility opened in November 2016 and is keen to support the local cause.
Please help 'The Wilson Trio' reach their target and raise much needed funds for this fantastic charity.
