We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Hey thanks all for your kind generosity!! .. Ooh two days to go!!! Xx

We've chosen Diabetes UK as our charity this year because we all have friends and family who are affected by this diesease and feel that Diabetes UK do a great job with research and support.

We also wanted to do this in honour of the brave Susan Taylor who tragically died on the 14th July this year swimming the channel to raise money for this same charity. Susan's story really touched us as she was of similar age trying to fulfill a lifelong dream whilst helping so many, through her fundraising.  Her courage was amazing and inspiring, her death truly tragic but through supporting in her honour, her attempt not in vain!

The triathlon is no mean feat that we're undertaking, 750metre open water swim (in the lovely docks 😳) followed by a 20k cycle and 5k run! So we thank you for your genorisity in donating and supporting us to spur us on!  Remember, every little counts so whatever you can spare will be gratefully received!

Donating through JustGiving – Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, your support is appreciated!
