Story

Marilyn and Ben are running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for SiMY Community Development to improve young people's physical and mental health. Every donation will cheer them on their 13.1 miles through London on 8th October 2023!

SiMY Community Development is a youth work organisation and charity based in Glasgow, Scotland. SiMY aims to help young people live life to the full by getting outdoors and being creative, improving their physical and mental health. SiMY actively involves young people and their families in the planning and running of activities, encouraging them to take responsibility for their own wellbeing, the choices they make, and the communities of which they are a part.

SiMY's activities include cycling, climbing, nature walks, swimming & creative arts. SiMY has leased the old Lister Street Bowling Greens in Glasgow in order to restore one bowling green surface and develop a community garden on the other.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the SiMY.
