Story

Shortly before Christmas we devastatingly lost our good friend Dan. As a group of friends of over 20 years we are all heartbroken, he leaves a huge hole behind him, a loving wife, two children with another on the way, a family and a huge network of friends. We spent the evening before together as a group of friends laughing and joking and enjoying our traditions of Christmas. I sat next to Dan for most of the evening and had no idea hat he was so clearly struggling with life. Mental health can be so very serious and there just is not enough support still and so as his friends we would like to dedicate our RED January to our good friend Dan Hen Hen. Gone but never forgotten. Let there be a disco in heaven worthy of our sweaty disco hen. Rest in peace buddy ‘bequirk’ xxxx

This January, the RED community will be challenging themselves to get active every day. Whether running, swimming, cycling or choosing a favourite fitness activity, REDers will be going the extra mile to support themselves and others.Their fitness and fundraising efforts combined with your generosity will help continue Minds life-changing work, ensuring no-one has to face a mental health problem alone. Thank you.
