Multiple Sclerosis affects over 130,000 people in the UK, including our mum Sue. Her diagnosis might have been a shock, as we all learnt about its neuro-degenerative impact, but she has dealt determinedly with it over the last decade. Mum has also had fantastic support from friends, family, and groups like the MS Society. They do ground-breaking work, looking at prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately searching for the cure.
It feels only right then that we both get off the couch and help support that very special cause. We are attempting to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April. For anyone who knows the state of our respective joints, this is going to be a challenge. Crucially, we figured that if both of us do it together we increase the chances of at least one of us finishing!
A huge thank you for all donations.
