Story

They did it!

That’s right, both Martin and Tony are now official Ironmen!

Watch their finishes here:

Martin's finish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FkwHGlpTe4

Tony's finish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqLrjPXcr-0

Our boys completed the gruelling course in 11 hours 45 minutes and 13 hours 11 minutes respectively.  Both did incredibly well, despite Tony suffering due to a painful stress fracture in his foot! The support around the course was phenomenal with many of you turning out to support Martin and Tony along the way. Suffice it to say they were feeling the effects the day after! J

And so now to you, the supporters. Your donations have been generous and numerous and will make a huge difference to both Bolton Hospice and the Christie Hospital. I know that Martin and Tony have been overwhelmed by your support and it really spurred them on with their training and on the day itself. So, a huge thank you and well done to all of you who have supported our athletes. I’m sure they would agree that they couldn’t have done it without your help.

If you would like to donate there is still time! This website will stay open for donations until 31st October 2011 so please keep spreading the word.

Many thanks again!
