As some of you know, last August I was unexpectedly diagnosed with prostate cancer. I recently underwent surgery as a result and have had some wonderful treatment at The Leicester General Hospital. On Sunday December 2nd, my wife Alison, son Dave, and our lurcher Benny will be joining the PROSTaid team in the Santa Fun Run in Loughborough. Unfortunately I’m not yet up to strength to join them, but they will be raising money for PROSTaid. 

PROSTaid is a charity giving care, support and information to local men with prostate cancer; they have an involvement with major research and also fund two specialist prostate cancer nurses for Leicester - providing an invaluable service, and one from which I have personally benefited.
