We support people across Scotland to have better mental health and wellbeing.

Story

Last year, staff where we work (at Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority) chose SAMH as our charity of the year.  We are fortunate to work for an organisation that supports and encourages staff to take care of their mental health, but as we both know, depression and anxiety don’t discriminate. No-one is immune.

We both recognise how important it is to do what you can to look after your own mental health and well-being, and the benefit of getting support from others when you need it most. In our own ways, we have each found that running (and sometimes walking the hard bits uphill), particularly among nature is a great healer, or energiser when you need it most.

The Callander 10K is a new race through the heart of the Trossachs, close to Loch Venachar and in the shadow of Ben Ledi. For two National Park advocates who like to run, what more could you ask for.

Please help us reach our target by donating what you can, and adding the (free) Gift Aid if possible.

Thank you, Anna and Joanne
