Story

With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands of people are expected to turn to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 650 communities across the UK, we will be doing all we can for them, whatever their circumstances.

At Horsham Salvation Army, our community meal and food bank runs throughout the year on Thursday evenings.

At Christmas we support families with toys and gifts, and a supermarket voucher for Christmas dinner. Last year we supported over 320 families (over 1000 individuals), who are referred anonymously to us by schools, early help teams, and social workers.

Your financial donations enable us to purchase gift vouchers for older teenagers, and the supermarket vouchers for Christmas dinner. We will also need to purchase gifts where there is a gap between donations for particular age groups and referral numbers.

Thank you so much for your support, as we seek to ensure that nobody has nothing on Christmas morning.
