Where There's a Need, There's The Salvation Army
With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands of people will turn to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 650 communities across the UK, we will be rolling our sleeves up and doing all we can for them. Will you stand with us at this challenging time?
Make a Difference in Your Local Community
Here in Southport, our local Christmas Appeal supports the following Southport-based Salvation Army initiatives:
Baby Bank - crisis support for parents needing clothing, food, and basic equipment for their baby.
Street homeless and vulnerably housed - your gift can provide food, clothing, and a hot shower (including toiletries).
Warm Space - every weekday our building is open as a warm space for people who have no warm place to be or who are struggling for food. As part of this inititive, free hot drinks and food are provided.
Fuel Grants - we provide crisis assistance for those struggling to pay their fuel costs.
Christmas Present Appeal - provision of gifts for children who might otherwise go without this Christmas.
