Event: The Salvation Army Christmas, from 31 December 2023 to 31 January 2024
With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands of people are expected to turn to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 650 communities across the UK, we will be doing all we can for them, whatever their circumstances.

Story

Walthamstow Salvation Army are collecting brand new toys and gifts to help support local families this Christmas, but hope to give older children the ability to receive a gift voucher and go shopping to purchase something of their own choice. Your donation will allow us to do this and to top up what we receive and buy specific presents where needed. Last year we provided in excess of 1500 gifts and we are expecting demand to increase further this year.

Bringing joy and happiness at Christmas is a real privilege and your support enables us to continue this work. Working alongside local agencies helps us to ensure that gifts go to families most in need, many of whom are facing financial hardship or are survivors of domestic abuse and human trafficking.

Please do share this with family and friends..

Thank you! Julie Pell x
