Story

After laying off the distance running for quite a while through lockdown \ injury \ illness, this is the road back...

Having started work at St Catherine's Hospice I thought it only right that my first fundraising in a few years should be for somewhere I can see the good use it will be put to.

St Catherine's provides palliative and end-of-life care and support for the people of Central Lancashire, through their specialised services at the hospice and in people’s own homes. They're here to help people facing life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure to enjoy the best possible quality of life to the end of life. It costs more than £5m to run the charity every single year. We rely on the amazing efforts and wonderful generosity of supporters like you to help us raise the funds we need. Thank you!
