Story
Firstly, I would like to thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. The aim of my page is to raise awareness of dementia.
There are over 22,000 people living with dementia In Northern Ireland at present, with many more cares, partners, families and friends affected.
In light of this, I have taken the decision along with my friend Roisin Kelly to take part in a 12 hour run. This run will take place in Baronscourt Estate Newtonstewart on Sunday, the 21st of May, from 8am to 8pm.
Throughout this 12 hour run, I will be thinking of one very special lady, my mammy, who was once a very strong independent lady and is the driving force behind why we are raising money for such a touching society. Mammy will be sitting at home, waiting patiently for us to come through the door to show her our medals for all your efforts. I know she will be so proud of us.
The money raised from this page will be going directly to Alzheimer's Society. We are very grateful for any donation, regardless of how big or small. Your kind donations ensure that Alzheimer's society can be there for every person affected by dementia. Your gift helps us to challenge perceptions, fund research and improve care and support. Together, we are united against dementia.
Many Thanks,
Therese and Roisin
